FEB | Light of the World Thursday, 7 PM The Grand Opening of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Art Gallery will take place on the evening of Thursday, February 16th at 7:00pm.
A show entitled Light of the World will highlight the photography of Christian artist Rachel Lowe. Doors will open at 7pm. Wine and cheese will be served. Rachel will be in attendance.
All art will be available for purchase.

FEB | Ash Wednesday Wednesday, 7:30 PM Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent and occurs forty days before Easter (excluding Sundays). It gets its name from the practice of placing ashes on the foreheads of the faithful as a sign of repentance. The ashes used are gathered after the palms from the previous year's Palm Sunday are burned. The ashes are used to make the sign of the cross on each of those present who kneel at the altar rail. As the pastor makes the sign of the cross, he recites the words: "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return." Join us for this meaningful service on Wednesday, February 22, 7:30 PM |
