Worship and Music Ministry is responsible for the Worship Services and related personnel needed to assist the Pastor with his services. Our subcommittees include: Acolyte/Crucifer, Lay Reader, Ushers, Alter Guild, Greeters, Nursery, Choirs, Worship Planning, Wedding and Funeral Coordinator. Many tasks are the same annually as guided by the Calendar of the Church Year.

At every Service we need volunteers to fill the various lay positions to read lessons, assist with communion, lead the congregation through the service, provide special music, and light the candles. We also order flowers appropriate for each Sunday, coordinate the first communion reception, prepare for Lenten services, Holy Week and Easter services, and prepare for Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas decorations and services. 

Our dreams include having more new members for the ministry to provide new energy and ideas to the group, improve our AV system, work to create even more dynamic worship, and support our staff and volunteers by allocating funds for the Organist and ministry members to attend workshops or seminars next year.

We need you to support the work of the ministry. Most of our funds are used to purchase eternal flames, candles, communion cups, music for the choirs, bell choir supplies and music, substitute organist, devotional materials, special musicians, substitute ministers, substitute choir director, copyright licenses, dues for organist and music director to respective associations, first communion and mother's day flowers.
