Good Shepherd would like to welcome Katie Crispin as our new Nursery Attendant. Katie and her family have been attending Good Shepherd and she is excited about this new opportunity. She will be offering services in the nursery on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:30am for Summer Worship (and beginning at 7:30am for Fall Worship). Just a reminder that these services are free for any/all families who wish to have a place for their young ones to go during worship.

The call committee held their first meeting on Wednesday June 23, 2010 and have begun the process of updating our church profile. In order to complete this process, we would like to meet with certain groups within the congregation as well as gather information about what the congregation as a whole is looking for in our next pastor. This will be completed through a series of meetings in the next couple of months, as well as surveys in the fall. Stay tuned!

Over the 2010 Superbowl weekend, Northern VA received one of the biggest snowfalls of the decade - forcing Good Shepherd to cancel services that Sunday.
