The Finance Ministry plans for and oversees the financial activities of the church. This group is vital in ensuring that all our hopes and dreams for the future can realistically be brought to light.

This ministry aims at working together to help the church be good stewards of God's creation. Through promoting a 'greener way of life' we are encouraging others to respect, protect and appreciate all that God has given us.

This Ministry acts as a liaison between the congregation and its employees.

The goal of this Ministry is to maintain the church building and grounds to protect its appearance, functionality and minimize the need for future repair costs.

This Ministry works to care for people with special needs in the congregation and the community.

This Ministry attempts to make church members aware of their responsibility in sharing their time, talent and treasure with the church as directed by Jesus Christ and the Bible.

This is the amount the ELCA Metro Washington D.C. Synod assigns our congregation to help the area and the worldwide church. This money goes toward World Hunger, Global Mission, Social Ministries, Seminaries and many other benevolent causes.

Good Shepherd is dedicated to making available many and various opportunities for members to deepen and enrich their faith for personal spiritual growth and to equip us to reach out to the unchurched.

Worship and Music Ministry is responsible for the Worship Services and related personnel needed to assist the Pastor with his services.

This new ministry demonstrates our church's commitment to nurturing the development of our young families.
